Sylvain Willenz was born in Belgium in 1978 and graduated in Material Design at the Royal College of Art in London in 2003. In Brussels he started his own studio where he dedicated himself to various projects, from lighting to objects, from IT electronics to furniture. His attention to graphics is visible through in his design that combines simplicity and elegance. His products include HOMERUN chair, UPON chair, SILEX vases, CURVE series in Serax. For HAY, Willenz created Brackets Incl. and Rebar.
