Marc Sadler, Austrian origin, studied in different towns such as New York, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Venice. In 1968 he got his graduation at ENSAD of Paris. He is university professor in different Italian and foreign faculties (Domus Academy of Milan, European Institute of Design of Milan, Polytechnic of Milan, Strate Collège and ENSCI Les Ateliers of Paris, Pôle de Plasturgie of Oyannaux, Design Lavoro of Bremerhaven, Art School of Nancy, Royal Art College of London and so on..). Marc Sadler attended important competions and got several International awards among which: In 1995 “The Compasso d'Oro ADI” obtained thanks to the soft fall lamp studied for Flos-Arteluce; in 2001 “The “Compasso d'Oro ADI” for the glass and carbon fibre TITE lamps and Acaro designed for Foscarini-Murano; in 2001 “design Plus” of Frankfurt, for “Grammy” kitchen scales designed for Fratelli Guzzini; Some of his projects are shown at the permanent collection of MOMA Design of New York and at Beabourg of Paris. After having lived and exercised his profession in different countries, France, United States, Asia and Italy, he now lives in Milan where he exercises his activity of consultant for many companies (Beretta, Faram, Watco, Matrix, Fratelli Guzzini). Since 2002 he is also Art Director and Design manager of Ideal Standard.
