Sezgin Aksu is a Turkish designer who studied in Germany at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste of Stuttgart with Richard Sapper and Ingo Maurer, and in France. Silvia Suardi is an Italian designer who graduated at the Politecnico of Milan and made some working experiences in Spain. For about ten years they have cooperated with the studio of the architect Michele de Lucchi, and since 2001 they work together. In their studio in Milan they deal with interior design (private houses and public spaces), organization of exhibition areas, design and graphic design. Their different culture is the strength of the great cooperation which involves every aspect of projecting, from architectonic spaces to communication. Among their most important clients there are: Nemo Cassina, Nurus, Olivetti, Poltrona Frau, Slide, Caimi Brevetti, Antonangeli, Serafino Zani. Sezgin Aksu teaches at the European Institute of Design, while Silvia Suardi cooperates with many international reviews. With the Utoo system, realized by Nurus, they won in 2007 the Red Dot Design Award, the Design Turkey in 2008, the Good Design USA and the Design Nominee.
