Arihiro Miyake was born in Japan in 1975. He initially studied design at Kobe Design University, then moved to Finland to complete his master's degree in furniture and design. In 2004 he founded his own studio, giving it the same name, and worked with high-end clients. Many of its products are also part of the Moooi design collection.
